Athletic Trainer
Annemarie Francis, our full-time athletic trainer, is a member of John Paul's Founding Faculty and Staff. Annemarie holds a Master of Science degree in Sports Medicine from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from High Point University, North Carolina.Ms. Francis works closely with the school nurse, coaches, counselors, parents, and administrators to address specific health concerns. The goal is to provide a culture focused on the health interests of the whole person during their time participating in or recovering to return to athletic competition. The high standards of quality are kept consistent with the NATA Standards of Professional Practice and the credentialing statutes of the state of Virginia.
