Mr. Matthew Barrick
In His Own Words: Finding one’s way in life is never easy. Fortunately, we are not alone in our quest as we have God’s grace and companionship to guide us. As I started off my quest in life as an education major in college, I found that photography was my true passion and calling. I have spent over 34 years as a working professional photographer. 15 of those years as the national photographer for home healthcare and hospice. Documenting the truly heroic work done for the care of others. However, as God guides me along my path in life, I am presented with gifts of opportunity. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School is one of those rare gifts of grace introduced into my life. First as a parent of children who attended JP and now as a member of a truly wonderful faculty. The ability to combine both my life’s passions, teaching and photography, is a gift that I will work hard to pass forward.
