Fr. Christopher Tipton
In His Own Words: I have always wanted to be a chaplain in an educational setting and am grateful to Bishop Burbidge for giving me this assignment! It is a joy to work with faculty, staff, and students in the pursuit of truth by asking questions about God, self-development, and the workings of the world which culminate in God’s gifts of the Church and in the celebration of the Sacraments. Sts. Augustine and Anselm of Canterbury express this pursuit of truth as: fides quarens intellectum (faith seeking understanding). May our pursuit of truth lead us to the life of grace so that we may experience the love of God in Christ our Lord!
