Mr. Peter Lucas
In His Own Words: Aristotle realized the deepest desire of man is to perfect his intellect, whence he says at the beginning of his Metaphysics that "All men by nature desire to know." We know by faith that this knowing is ultimately fulfilled in a person- the Truth Himself in the beatific vision. Being a part of the richly Catholic John Paul the Great teaching community is a wonderful opportunity to aid the students who deep down desire the freedom that comes from knowing the truth, both in the acquiring of speculative truths as well as personal knowledge of Christ. I desire that through my work as a teacher, I may accompany and assist my students along the lifelong pilgrimage to wisdom and, ultimately to heaven.
